Copse Farm is situated in a rarely found location, being in a village overlooking open farmland whilst also conveniently located a short drive from the excellent transport infrastructure and local facilities.

The surrounding area offers a rich heritage with something for everyone. Only 1.5 miles away on the River Medway is the picturesque village of Upnor with its castle, yacht clubs, and riverside pubs.

Across the river is Rochester with its speciality shops and restaurants in the Victorian High Street, a Cathedral and Norman Castle. Rochester is renowned for its strong connections with Charles Dickens who grew up in the area with many local places featuring in his books. Chatham has The Historic Dockyard, a newly built multiplex cinema and a wide variety of shops whilst only 20 minutes drive is the superb Bluewater Shopping Centre packed with shops, restaurants, and cinema.

For travel things could not be much better. The Medway Towns by-pass (A289) is only 1.5 miles distant which provides access via a dual carriageway to the M2/A2 or through the Medway Tunnel to Chatham and beyond.

The newly built international station at Ebbsfleet opens in November 2007 offering travel to Paris in 125mins, Brussels in 101 mins and from 2009 a domestic service to St Pancras in the heart of London in only 17 minutes! Current services to London run from Strood and Rochester to Charing Cross and Victoria respectively.

Leisure facilities are equally impressive with nearby Hoo offering swimming, squash, golf, bowls, tennis, and athletics; yacht clubs at Upnor; multiplex cinemas at Chatham, Strood and Bluewater; theatres in Chatham, Rochester, Canterbury and Dartford.

For those who enjoy the outdoors the area has an abundance of woodlands, marshes, farms, and nature reserves to explore using the many public footpaths together with charming villages such as Cooling and Cliffe.
